Rain (Mind Mapping) came about when, after a long jam, Norm put
down his guitar, resting it against his stack. Suddenly, the sound
you hear at the beginning of this track came out. Immediately,
we both siezed the opportunity. I improvised an acoustic part,
while Norm manipuated the guitar that was leaning against the
amp.
The same basic sound can be heard on "Mind Mapping (Revisited)",
but the manipulation and acoustic part is completely different.
